{"name":"Barbarian","overview":"For some, their rage springs from a communion with fierce animal spirits. Others draw from a roiling reservoir of anger at a world full of pain. On your turn, you can enter a rage as a bonus action.\r\n\r\nWhile raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing heavy armor:\r\n\r\nYou have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.\r\nWhen you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll that increases as you gain levels as a barbarian, as shown in the Rage Damage column of the Barbarian table.\r\nYou have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.\r\nIf you are able to cast spells, you can't cast them or concentrate on them while raging.\r\n\r\nYour rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action.\r\n\r\nOnce you have raged the number of times shown for your barbarian level in the Rages column of the Barbarian table, you must finish a long rest before you can rage again.\r\n\r\nUnarmored Defense\r\nWhile you are not wearing any armor, your armor class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Constitution modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.\r\n\r\nDanger Sense\r\nAt 2nd level, you gain an uncanny sense of when things nearby aren't as they should be, giving you an edge when you dodge away from danger. You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws against effects that you can see, such as traps and spells. To gain this benefit, you can't be blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.\r\n\r\nReckless Attack\r\nStarting at 2nd level, you can throw aside all concern for defense to attack with fierce desperation. When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.\r\n\r\nPrimal Path\r\nAt 3rd level, you choose a path that shapes the nature of your rage. Your choice grants you features at 3rd level and again at 6th, 10th, and 14th levels.","subclass_options":"Ancestral Guardian\tXanathar's Guide to Everything\r\nBattlerager\tSword Coast Adventurer's Guide\r\nBeast\tTasha's Cauldron of Everything\r\nBerserker\tPlayer's Handbook\r\nStorm Herald\tXanathar's Guide to Everything\r\nTotem Warrior\tPlayer's Handbook\r\nWild Magic\tTasha's Cauldron of Everything\r\nZealot\tXanathar's Guide to Everything","table_data":"Level| Prof. Bonus| Features| Rages | Rage Damage\r\n1st\t| +2\t| Rage, Unarmored Defense |\t2 |\t+2\r\n2nd |\t+2 |\tReckless Attack, Danger Sense\t| 2 |\t+2\r\n3rd\t| +2\t| Primal Path, Primal Knowledge (Optional) |\t3\t| +2\r\n4th |\t+2\t| Ability Score Improvement\t| 3\t| +2\r\n5th\t| +3\t| Extra Attack, Fast Movement\t| 3\t| +2\r\n6th\t| +3\t| Path feature\t| 4\t| +2\r\n7th\t| +3\t| Feral Instinct, Instinctive Pounce (Optional)\t| 4\t| +2\r\n8th\t| +3\t| Ability Score Improvement\t| 4\t| +2\r\n9th\t| +4\t| Brutal Critical (1 die)\t| 4\t| +3\r\n10th\t| +4\t| Path feature, Primal Knowledge (Optional)\t| 4\t| +3\r\n11th\t| +4\t| Relentless Rage\t| 4\t| +3\r\n12th\t| +4\t| Ability Score Improvement\t| 5\t| +3\r\n13th\t| +5\t| Brutal Critical (2 dice)\t| 5\t| +3\r\n14th\t| +5\t| Path feature\t| 5\t| +3\r\n15th\t| +5\t| Persistent Rage\t| 5\t| +3\r\n16th\t| +5\t| Ability Score Improvement\t| 5\t| +4\r\n17th\t| +6\t| Brutal Critical (3 dice)\t| 6\t| +4\r\n18th\t| +6\t| Indomitable Might\t| 6 |\t+4\r\n 19th\t| +6\t| Ability Score Improvement\t| 6\t| +4\r\n20th\t| +6\t| Primal Champion\t| Unlimited\t| +4","source":"SRD; http:\/\/dnd5e.wikidot.com\/barbarian","jsondata":"","tags":"","templateId":"5460","blockId":"1148891","world":"81f7758e-b39c-4ad3-a21b-5c5258c8bfe3","folder":"","isShared":"on"}
