A\r\ncircle consists of twenty or more myconids that work, live,\r\nand meld together.\r\n[br]\r\nA meld is a form of communal meditation that allows\r\nmyconids to transcend their dull subterranean existence.\r\nThe myconids' rapport spores bind the participants into a\r\ngroup consciousness. Hallucination spores then induce a\r\nshared dream that provides entertainment and social\r\ninteraction. Myconids consider melding to be the purpose\r\nof their existence. They use it in the pursuit of higher\r\nconsciousness, collective union, and spiritual apotheosis.\r\nMyconids also use their rapport spores to communicate\r\ntelepathically with other sentient creatures.\r\n[br]\r\n[br]\r\n[b][u]Cultural Pacifism[\/u][\/b]\r\nFrom a very early age, myconids are taught the virtues of\r\nempathy and pacifism. Material and worldly possessions\r\nare not chiefly important to myconids, so there is very little\r\nmotivation for violence.\r\n[br]\r\n[br]\r\n[b][u]Myconid Reproduction[\/u][\/b]\r\nLike other fungi, myconids reproduce by mundane sporing.\r\nThey carefully control their spores' release to avoid\r\noverpopulation. Unlike most other humanoids, myconids\r\ntake no pleasure from reproduction and feel very little\r\nconnection to their offspring. Child rearing is a\r\nresponsibility shared by the entire circle, and it is rare if\r\nyoung myconids can even identify their parents.","source":"home brew","jsondata":"","tags":"","templateId":"5520","blockId":"1376903","world":"181e90fa-ccda-4346-b27d-57b097f29ab7","folder":"","isShared":"on"}
