{"name":"Plagueheart Amulet ","item_type":"Wondrous Item","rarity":"Legendary","price":"","weight":"","properties":"The Plagueheart Amulet possesses the following properties:\r\n\r\n[h4]Immunity to Disease[\/h4]\r\nWhile wearing the amulet, you are immune to all diseases, both natural and magical.\r\nYou are also immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.\r\n\r\n[h4]Plague Touch[\/h4]\r\nAs an action, you can make a melee spell attack against a creature within your reach.\r\n\r\n[b]On a hit,[\/b] the target takes 4d10 necrotic damage and must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or become afflicted with a magical plague.\r\n\r\nWhile afflicted, the creature suffers one of the following effects (determined by the wielder):\r\n[ul][li]Disadvantage on all ability checks and saving throws.[\/li][\/ul]\r\n[ul][li]2d10 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns.[\/li][\/ul]\r\n[ul][li]Cannot regain hit points.[\/li][\/ul]\r\n[ul][li]The plague lasts for 1 minute or until the target receives magical healing of at least 6th level, or a Remove Curse or Greater Restoration spell is cast on them.[\/li][\/ul]\r\n\r\n[h4]Aura of Contagion[\/h4]\r\nA 10-foot radius aura of pestilence extends from you while you wear the amulet.\r\n\r\nAny hostile creature that starts its turn in the aura must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned until the start of its next turn.\r\n\r\nWhile poisoned, creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.\r\n\r\nThe aura intensifies in the presence of blood, corpses, or plague-ridden environments, increasing the radius to 30 feet under these conditions.\r\n\r\n[h4]Unholy Plague (Recharge 1d6)[\/h4]\r\nAs an action, you can unleash a plague of unholy pestilence in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on yourself.\r\nAll creatures within the area must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw.\r\n\r\n[b]On a failed save,[\/b] creatures take 6d10 necrotic damage and are poisoned for 1 hour.\r\nIf a creature is reduced to 0 hit points by this effect, their body becomes a plague zombie under your control for 1 minute.\r\n\r\n[b]On a successful save,[\/b] the creatures take half damage and are not poisoned.\r\n\r\n[h1]Enhanced Properties (Post-Attunement)[\/h1]\r\nOnce fully attuned, the Plagueheart Amulet reveals its true power, amplifying the wielder\u2019s command over disease and pestilence.\r\n\r\n[h4]Master of Plagues[\/h4]\r\nYour Plague Touch now afflicts the target with all three effects simultaneously instead of forcing you to choose one.\r\nThe damage from Plague Touch increases to 6d10 necrotic damage, and the duration of the plague increases to 10 minutes.\r\n\r\n[h4]Aura of Decay[\/h4]\r\nThe Aura of Contagion expands to 30 feet at all times.\r\nIn addition to poisoning creatures, enemies affected by this aura also suffer from the effects of the spell Ray of Enfeeblement for 1 minute.\r\n\r\n[h4]Herald of Pestilence[\/h4]\r\nYou can cast the spell Contagion at will without expending a spell slot.\r\n\r\nIf you cast Contagion in an area where your aura is active, the saving throw to resist the effect is made with disadvantage.\r\n\r\n[h2]Special Ability - Wrath of Vihbus[\/h2]\r\nOnce per long rest, you can call upon the Wrath of Vihbus, unleashing the full power of the amulet. For 1 minute, you become a walking plague.\r\n\r\n[ul][li]Aura of Decay increases to 60 feet. All creatures in the aura (except you) take 2d10 necrotic damage at the start of their turn.[\/li][\/ul]\r\n[ul][li]Your Plague Touch deals maximum damage on a hit, and afflicted creatures automatically fail their Constitution saving throws.[\/li][\/ul]\r\n[ul][li]Creatures killed by this aura immediately rise as plague zombies under your control.[\/li][\/ul]\r\n[ul][li]While this effect is active, you gain temporary hit points equal to the total necrotic damage dealt by this ability.[\/li][\/ul]\r\nWhen the effect ends, you must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or suffer one level of exhaustion and take 6d10 necrotic damage.\r\n\r\n[h1]Curses[\/h1]\r\n\r\n[h4]Essence of Corruption[\/h4]\r\nEach dawn, you must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw.
