Ethereal Sight. Thunder can see 60 feet into the Ethereal Plane when he is on the Material Plane, & vice versa.

Incorporeal Movement. Thunder can move through other creatures & objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 5 (1d10) force damage if he ends his turn inside an object.

Actions

Multiattack. Thunder makes two Withering Touch attacks.

Withering Touch. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (4d6 + 4) necrotic damage.

Etherealness. Thunder enters the Ethereal Plane from the Material Plane, or vice versa. He is visible on the Material Plane while he is in the Border Ethereal, & vice versa, yet he can't affect or be affected by anything on the other plane.

Possession (Recharge 6). One humanoid that Thunder can see within 5 feet of him must succeed on a DC 14 Charisma saving throw or be possessed by him; Thunder then disappears, & the target is incapacitated & loses control of its body. Thunder now controls the body but doesn't deprive the target of awareness. He can't be targeted by any attack, spell, or other effect, except ones that turn undead, & he retains his alignment, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma, & immunity to being charmed & frightened. He otherwise uses the possessed target's statistics, but doesn't gain access to the target's knowledge, class features, or proficiencies.

The possession lasts until the body drops to 0 hit points, Thunder ends it as a bonus action, or he is turned or forced out by an effect like the Dispel Evil & Good spell. When the possession ends, Thunder reappears in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the body. The target is immune to this ghost's Possession for 24 hours after succeeding on the saving throw or after the possession ends.

Summon Esteban (1/Day). Thunder summons the ghost of his pet tiger. Esteban manifests as an Undead Spirit with a Ghostly form. The spirit disappears when it drops to 0 HP or when the spell ends (duration up to 1 hour).

Esteban is an ally to Thunder & shares his initiative count, but takes its turn immediately after his. It obeys his verbal commands (no action required). If he doesn't issue any, it takes the Dodge action & uses its move to avoid danger.
