Uncommon Requires Attunement

This charred wooden staff is entwined with a single mass of dead, twisted roots. A faint yellow-brown glow seeps through its cracked surface, and it carries the scent of dry rot and old soil.

Aging Nature. Once per day, as an action, you choose a point you can see within 20 feet. A 10-foot cube centered on that point becomes suffused with necrotic decay for 1 minute.

Nonmagical plants in the area rapidly wither, dry, and become brittle.
For the duration, any ability check or attack roll made to cut through, break, or clear plant matter in the area is made with advantage, and any DC or AC associated with such plants is halved.
This effect does not affect plant creatures or magical plant effects.

When the effect ends, the plants return to their original state, as if the decay had never occurred.
