Learning a Language. The pages of this book are enchanted with auditory illusion magic. When you read it, you hear the words written in it spoken in your mind. This enchantment allows you to comprehend and learn the Abyssal language at an accelerated pace. If you read the book for at least 1 hour, the enchantment imprints on you and the tome can no longer be used by another creature. You can learn the language by dedicating time studying the tome for at least one hour a day for a number of weeks equal to 8 minus your Intelligence modifier. Upon completing this study, you gain proficiency with the language and gain the ability to understand, read, write and speak it fluently.
