To learn how to use Alchemist's Supplies using this tome, you must dedicate time to studying it, and practice the techniques within it, for which you also require the tools. The time required equals a number of weeks equal to 20 minus twice your Intelligence modifier. Materials for this study cost an additional 200 gold pieces. Upon completion of this study, you gain proficiency with Alchemist's Supplies and know how to use them. You do not know every singular product, recipe or fabrication process associated with the craft, but have a basic understanding of these aspects.
