Chisel of Awakening
Rare Wondrous Item (Cursed)
Requires proficiency with Mason's or Woodcarver's Tools
Awaken Statue. This chisel holds one charge. You can use an action to touch a statue of a humanoid of medium size with it and speak a command word to expend the charge. When you do, the statue instantly transforms into a Flesh Golem loyal to you. The Flesh Golem is friendly to you and your companions, and it acts directly after your turn. You can use a bonus action to command how it moves and what action it takes on its next turn, or to give it general orders, such as to attack your enemies. In the absence of such orders, the Flesh Golem does nothing. The Flesh Golem reverts back to its statue form after 12 hours have passed. The chisel regains its charge after 24 hours have passed.
Stone Embrace (Curse). After you expend the charge, roll a d100 at the end of your turn. On a roll of 1-74 nothing happens. On a roll of 75-94, the chisel shatters, becoming useless. On a roll of 95-100, the chisel shatters and you must make a Constitution saving throw. The DC of this saving throw is 15 and increases by 1 for every subsequent time Awaken Statue has ever been used after the first time. On a failed save you take 3d8 Necrotic damage and become Petrified.
