Dragonflame Sausages
These pork sausages are a variation on a recipe from traditional Azun cuisine, the original recipe calls for more exotic spices that cannot be obtained as easily everywhere in the world. The fatty pork inside the sausages is mixed with finely chopped red peppers and spiced thoroughly with a mixture of paprika powder, garlic and cumin. The sausages are cooked slowly on a grill above hot coals which gives them their distinct smoky taste. Immediately after they are cooked, the sausages are served with a drizzling of a hot red pepper sauce and a roll or piece of white bread.
Dragonflame sausages are a food commonly sold by streetvendors during the Festival of the Summer Sun in Wolfsbrunn.
