Kalaera - Tamer of Clouds
Artifact, Wondrous Item
Requires attunement
Kaleara was once the favored instrument of Zevira, goddess of wind, storms, and shifting skies. When she walked the material plane in mortal form, she used this divine fan to shepherd the clouds, stir the upper winds, and summon tempests with a flick of her wrist. In her hands it was more than a tool, it was an extension of her divine will, graceful and deadly.
Before the gods retreated beyond mortal reach, Zevira entrusted the fan to a devoted follower, one who had served her with unwavering faith. With her divine presence fading from the world, Zevira believed Kaleara would serve as a legacy and safeguard, preserving a sliver of her essence among the storms.
Though no longer a conduit of unfiltered divine power, it remained a powerful relic, and a reminder of a time when mortals walked beside gods. For generations, the fan changed hands in silence, always drawn to those who sought balance between destruction and mercy but it’s last known appearance ended in tragedy. As a coastal flood destroyed a whole civilization, the fan was swallowed by the tides.
