Kinship Bread
Kinship bread is a sweet bread the recipe of which originated in Entari. It was traditionally baked for Entarian who offered it to people they encountered and wished to befriend. It is a festive treat that is enjoyed at all kinds of events in the city of Hartloch.
The dough is sweetened and needs to rise before being rolled. It is then knotted into a heart shape before it is baked in an oven. After cooling down, the texture of the bread is fluffy and the taste is sweet with just a hint of cinnamon and cardamom. Some bakers have changed the recipe slightly by adding more ingredients such as the zest of citrus fruits and raisins, or by folding chocolate paste into the dough.
