Novawing

Novawings are large celestial moths who serve as protectors of the innocent and the just. They may be dispatched by higher celestial powers to guard sacred places, act as a guide to lost souls, or intervene in situations where the forces of good are in peril. In times of darkness or despair, the appearance of a Novawing can be a sign of hope and encouragement for those fighting against evil.   Shadow Seeker. In contrast to regular moths, the Novawing is drawn to areas of darkness or manifestations of evil. This could include places shrouded in physical darkness, such as forgotten crypts, deep caves, or ancient ruins where malevolent forces have taken root. They are also attracted to sites of great tragedies, lands cursed by powerful evils, or locations where malevolent rituals have been performed. It might be particularly drawn to individuals who are corrupted by power, consumed by malevolent ambitions, or those who have strayed far from the path of righteousness.   Divine Messenger. The Novawing may also serve as a messenger of higher celestial entities, conveying divine will or omens to mortals. Their appearance can be a sign that the divine are watching or that a significant divine event is about to unfold. Generally, Novawings are benevolent and kind towards mortals. They are often curious and gentle, observing without directly intervening unless it is necessary to protect the innocent or uphold justice. While they are not hostile, their ways are inscrutable, and their actions are guided by a celestial understanding that may not always align with mortal expectations. This can sometimes make them unpredictable allies.
