Pearl Guard
Clad in glimmering armor that catches the light of sun and moon alike, the Pearl Guard is the sworn protectorate of Entari. They are more than just city guards, they are a full military order tasked with defending the borders, maintaining peace within the city, and hunting down threats in the wilderness.
Divisions
Their iconic gear, known as the Regalia of the Pearl Guard, is a finely crafted leather armor reinforced with pearl-studded detailing. It’s not just ceremonial, it’s a mark of pride and duty, worn by those who have taken up the sacred charge to protect Entari. Entarians don’t join the Pearl Guard for glory. They join because they believe in community, in service, and in defending what they love. New recruits are tested and trained, and depending on their talents, they are placed into one of three divisions. Those skilled in survival, archery, and silent movement join the Voronian Rangers. Those drawn to discipline, close combat, and civic order become Wardens of Entari. And those who show excellence in both arms and leadership, and are chosen by griffon and commander alike, rise to join the skies in the Winged Legion.Voronian Rangers
The Voronian Rangers patrol the icy wilds surrounding Entari. Skilled with bow and blade, they are trained to spot threats long before they reach the city. From stalking beasts near Lake Voronis to tracking intruders from across the border, rangers keep Entari’s lands safe and unspoiled. They fight with bows and swords,, preferring to strike swiftly from a distance, but just as deadly up close. Often working in small hunting parties or operating alone.Wardens of Entari
Inside the city itself, the Wardens keep the peace. They patrol the streets, guard public gatherings, and are often the first to respond to disturbances in the city. Known for their discipline and level-headedness, Wardens are chosen for their sense of justice and their ability to stay calm even when tensions flare. In peaceful times, they wield Silver Snow Glaives long, elegant polearms suited for control and display. But when war calls, many Wardens take up other weapons and march to the frontlines a, wielding greatswords and holding the line with unwavering resolve. The Winged Legion
The elite warriors of Entari fly into battle mounted on Arctic Griffons, surveying the land from above and striking like lightning when needed. To see a Winged Legionnaire pass overhead is to know Entari is watching closely. They are the smallest but most honored division of the Pearl Guard. Each rider is chosen for their mastery in both ranged and melee combat, as well as their ability to lead, adapt, and survive. Armed with bows and sleek blades, they strike fast and vanish faster. Every rider is tethered to their griffon with a Tumbling Ring, a clever harness that prevents fatal falls and allows for agile swings and aerial maneuvers. It’s not uncommon for riders to leap mid-flight, slashing at enemies before vaulting back into the saddle. The Winged Legion is more than Entari’s air force, it’s a symbol of excellence. And while the Guard doesn’t use traditional ranks, there’s no doubt: being chosen for the skies is a badge of great honor.
