Liquid Shield. The swirling purple liquid in this bottle sometimes turns to an inky black seemingly at random. The taste can be described as ashy and bitter.
When you drink this potion, you gain resistance to Necrotic damage. A thin veil of dark energy surrounds your body. Whenever a creature within 5ft. of you hits you with a melee attack, the shield erupts with necrotic energy, dealing 2d8 Necrotic damage to the attacker. These effects last for 10 minutes.
