A simple Melody
Rosy promises for life
Written for all to see

Laments for chances lost
Survive struggles slowly still
But oh, at what a cost

What is a poem, my friend?
A secret inner stage
Thoughts and feelings hidden once
Now lay across the page

What is a poem, indeed
An everlasting will
Thoughts and dreams, laughter and tears
Lasting immortal, still

Welcome to my collection of poems and poetry, ranging from elementary school to the present day. Poetry was always a coping mechanism of mine, a way to work through my emotions, and so you'll find a lot of personal information about myself within the following chapters.
