Hi everyone!
It’s been a while since I wrote one of these. Where have I been? Deep into my writing! The first draft of my novel is finally coming to a close. I am alive and well—as well as one can be! Sometimes you just have to buckle down and focus on what you're working on.
That being said, I did take a short break for a fun challenge I participated in last year: Dip a Toe In by Asmo. The opportunity to visit and write a story set in another creator's world is so much fun, provided you're comfortable with it. I participated last year with my story, A Spoonful of Penance .
This year, the theme was "create a problem," and I did just that! Crucially, I left the problem open-ended, so the other world's creator can use it if they want to. It was a fantastic writing exercise.
