Special Maneuvers
Drone Command - Issue simultaneous commands to all deployed Drone Swarms as a Bonus Action or an Attack action. The drone swarms will move as part of your command. Each H-106 Drone Swarm has its own HP and stat block.
Attack (Lethal) - The
H-106 Drone Swarm moves into a space and attacks all hostile targets inside of that space or makes a ranged weapon attack.
Attack (Non-Lethal) - The
H-106 Drone Swarm moves into a space and attacks all hostile targets inside of that space or makes a ranged weapon attack.
Defend - The
H-106 Drone Swarm moves to intercept and receive an attack instead of you or one of your allies until the start of your next turn.
Stun - The
H-106 Drone Swarm expends its use of the Stun mode. The Stun mode can only be used once per Short or Long rest.
Target Lock - The
H-106 Drone Swarm provides targeting assists against a chosen target, granting Advantage on attack rolls to you and your allies until the start of your next turn.
Drone Deployment - You deploy a number of H-106 Drone Swarm equal to your Intelligence Modifier as an Action.
Drone Recall - You recall all H-106 Drone Swarm as an Action to repair them automatically. Each Drone Swarm recovers 2d6 HP multiplied by your Intelligence Modifier. Once you have used this maneuver, you may not use it again until you finish a Short or Long rest.
Swarm Overdrive - When your drone swarms are deployed, you may use this maneuver as a Bonus Action. Each drone swarm can make an extra attack once when you command them to take an Attack action. Once you have used this maneuver, you may not use it again until you finish a Short or Long rest.
Special Properties
Area of Effect - Each H-106 Drone Swarm occupies a 10 foot sphere and can move freely through occupied spaces and tiny spaces. When the drone swarm uses its melee attack, each target inside its area of effect must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Intelligence Modifier. On a failed save, a target takes the rolled damage and cannot use its Reaction until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, a target only takes half damage. This is referred to as the Drone Launcher DC on the Drone Swarm statblock.
Command Range - This weapon has a maximum command range of 900 feet or 20 hexes. Drone Swarms outside of that range, if the operator moves, will attempt to fly back into range, spending movement up to their maximum movement speed to get back within range.
Heavy
Robotics - Drone Swarms are robotic constructs and can benefit from the Roboticist's features and other features that affect robotic constructs.
Loading: Uses an Action to reload the Power Cell.
Handling: 2-Handed
An exotic drone launcher that deploys swarms of homing drones that can be pre-programmed for non-lethal or lethal attacks from a drone carrier. Non-lethal attacks stun the target. The drone carrier itself is rechargeable but can only fire off one attack at a time. The drones loiter around for roughly 1 minute before needing to return.
