Graystare Curse
Major Transmutation Curse (Creature)
Description. The graystare curse is a final act of resistance by some creatures that can petrify others by looking at them such as Medusas. The curse is transferred when they are killed to the person who delivered the killing blow.
Effects. The creature that delivers the killing blow has to make a Constitution saving throw. The DC of this saving throw is equal to the CR of the creature +10. On a failed save, they become Cursed. While Cursed in this way, their eyes turn to stone and they are Blinded.
Breaking. Any spell that cures Petrification will break this curse. Remove Curse does not break the curse.
