Before you make an ability check which includes the use of alchemist's supplies, you can choose to activate the magic of the charm to add your proficiency bonus to the ability check. If you are already proficient with alchemist's supplies, you double the proficiency bonus for the ability check when you use this charm. This charm has 1d4 uses, after the paper charm has been activated for its final use, it destroys itself in a small, harmless puff of smoke that smells faintly like cinnamon.
