Ring of the Spying Eye
Rare Wondrous Item
Eye Spy. You can take off this ring and place it flat against a surface to see through the ring and the material, as if a hole had been made in it. You can look through 5ft. of stone, wood, or dirt; 5 inches of common metal; or a thin sheet of lead. The hole is effectively an illusion but also appears on the other side of the surface. No materials, objects, or sounds can pass through the hole. When you remove the ring from the surface, the hole disappears and leaves no trace in the material.
