The Smiling Chamelon is probably one of the most enigmatic and peculiar shops that can be found in the world. It appears and disappears sometimes seemingly at random. Finding the entrance itself can be difficult as it is only accessible through a Portable Door that takes on a different shape and color depending on the location it is in. The chameleon emblem in the middle of the door is the only feature that remains the same.

Hidden Entrance

The door to the Smiling Chameleon Bazaar is a strange and mysterious thing, it seems to be appearing and disappearing at random intervals in cities and even in the wild. The door does not require a wall, so sometimes it is found in the middle of a marketplace or square. It is said by some superstitious folk that the door only appears to those who are truly in need of its wares, seeking out those who are searching for something special and unique. The door is usually placed by a person that then goes into the bazaar themselves, the door vanishes into nothingness after some time has passed (but not before any who have entered have gone out again).   There are a few places in the world where the door seems to appear more often. Because of its changing nature, nobody has ever been able to fully discern the exact size and contents of the bazaar, luckily the staff of the bazaar are able to guide customers through the bazaar and help them find the exit when they wish to leave.

Even though the staff is very helpful, another rather confusing thing about the Smiling Chameleon Bazaar is that just like the establishment itself, the staff is also always changing. Every time you visit, you might be greeted by a different group of shopkeepers, each one with their own unique appearance and personality. The staff can be recognized by a green patch embroidered with the smiling chameleon emblem in copper thread that is also on the door(s) of the bazaar. No matter what form they may take, the shopkeepers are always ready with a warm smile and helpful advice. Others believe that it is the domain of a Divine being, who use the bazaar as a way to interact with the mortal world and spread their magic. Whatever the truth may be, one thing is certain: the Smiling Chameleon Bazaar is a place like no other, and a must-see destination for any adventurer or collector (provided they are able to find it).

However, the prices at the bazaar can be unpredictable as the value of an item can change quickly and unexpectedly.
