Star Olives
Star Olives are regular green olives that have been stuffed with a puree of garlic and yellow bell pepper. People with a taste for spicy food sprinkle them with chili flakes or powder before eating them. They are often eaten during the hot summer months and go really well with a dry red wine. The olives have a long shelf life as they are stored submerged in oil inside airtight jars or pots.
