Xinta Beach

Xinta Beach is a small beach hidden away in a cove south of the city of Rhajada. During the summer, the beach is frequented by the young Jadeans from the city. It is a place where you can get away from the stuffy academia and strict calmness of the capital, and just have fun.   During the day most people will swim, sunbathe and do all sorts of games in the sand. There are also a number of daredevils who dive from the cliffs into the water, and the more artistically inclined students from the Academy of Culture are known to build massive sandcastles that are impressive both in manner of construction and aesthetic.
  But the beach truly comes alive after the sun sets, as the sky turns from orange to purple, bonfires are lit and instruments are tuned to prepare for a night of festivities. Drinks and food are brought out as musicians and dancers entertain the masses with improvised shows. Despite the empire's disdain and strict regulation of magic, there are often small groups of people on this beach that practice spells or rituals together at a safe distance from all the festivities. As the food and drink runs out, and people become tired, they often spend the night on the beach, sleeping under the star filled night sky.
