Academy of Culture

For a nation to thrive, it must not only be strong in arms and rich in resources, but also deep in wisdom and rich in culture. As the Empire of the Jade Eye flourished, the second Imperial Academy that was founded, was the Academy of Culture. This academy is the empire's cornerstone of cultural development and preservation. It is dedicated to archiving, teaching, developing and researching the arts, history, philosophy, and communication.

Faculties

History. The Faculty of History is a treasure trove of the empire's past, where the annals of time are studied and preserved. Here, scholars delve into the rich tapestry of Azuno's history, exploring ancient civilizations, pivotal events, and influential figures that have shaped the current era. The faculty emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of history, not just as a record of events but as a continuous narrative that influences present and future decisions. It fosters a deep appreciation for the empire's heritage, cultivating historians who become the custodians of the empire's legacy and teachers of its lessons.   Art. The Faculty of Art is a vibrant and dynamic center where creativity and expression are celebrated. Students are immersed in a visual, performing, and literary arts, exploring diverse mediums and styles. The faculty encourages experimentation and innovation, fostering an environment where budding artists can hone their craft and develop their unique voices. This faculty plays a crucial role in enriching the empire's culture, producing architects, sculptors, artists, curators, and critics who not only preserve traditional art forms but also push the boundaries of various artforms.   Philosophy. In the Faculty of Philosophy, the deepest questions about existence, knowledge, and ethics are explored. This faculty is a haven for thinkers and intellectuals who seek to understand the world. The curriculum covers a wide range of philosophical schools and thoughts, encourages students to engage in critical thinking, reasoned debate, and reflective inquiry. Scholars from this faculty are seen as influential thinkers, advisors, and ethicists, who contribute to the moral and intellectual fabric of the empire. Masters of Philosophy can find themselves in advisory positions for the Imperial Magistrate or truly any ot the other faculties within the Imperial Academies.   Communication. The Faculty of Communication is where the study of language, symbols and the science of the transfer of information converge. The faculty covers a broad spectrum, from traditional rhetoric and public speaking to the research and design of improved messaging networks and systems. The faculty has close ties with the Faculty of Diplomacy in the Academy of Order and the Faculty of Trade in the Academy of Prosperity as communication has a vital role in these academic fields as well.
