Cursed Items
Cursed objects and items are objects that have been imbued with malevolent magic, energy or even spirits that bring misfortune, harm, or suffering to those who possess or come into contact with them. They commonly influence the user negatively, this can be to put a price to the power the object gives an individual but sometimes simply with the intention to cause suffering. Sentient Items are often considered considered cursed, but in some instances it could be said that the item itself is not cursed, but the soul or spirit within it was the target of a curse which turned them into sentient item.
