Sentient Items
Sentient items are objects that are believed to possess their own consciousness or will, and are able to communicate and interact with their surroundings in some way. A sentient item can be created as such, or the soul or spirit of a creature might be bound into it by a curse. Sentient objects typically have a personality or character of their own. Some sentient items are even capable of making their own decisions or performing an action on their own volition.
