As the guards proceed to haul Rena away the queen speaks "Council. Please remain. My advisor informs me that they have found someone that might help understand how this situation managed to happen." Lenny steps forward "I promise she is not your enemy. In fact she is against most of her kind here in Artainia." The nobles were confused by his statement until a violent swirl of densely packed leaves that disappear almost as quickly as they appeared to reveal a devil. The devil had green hair, pale green corrupted looking skin, but the most unnerving part about her was her eyes as her sclera were blood red with a bright green solid iris with seemingly no pupil. Duchess Warstrike "You dare bring a demon here!!" The devil speaks "I am a devil. The difference is important." The queen says "I trust Lenny. Let the devil speak." The devil bows "Thank you your highness. I am Tanaroch. I came here because you find yourselves at odds with enemies of mind" Coldreach asks "Who would that be?" "The Devil Lord Draxia and it would appear she gave another devil, Megai, as a servent to Rena, though your kind might use the term slave" Count Northwind shouts "Impossible! we would have known about it. You demons don't tend to be subtle." Countess Coldreach says "Demons aren't subtle....This is largely true for the ones we know of. How ever as Tanaroch has already stated. She isn't a demon. She is a devil as she has already stated. I take it you devils are the beings that can change as mortals into demons yes?" The eccentric Countess Chuldebra states "I have also never heard a demon that looks like Tanaroch here. We have records of a few less destructive demons that appear in our county's history from time to time that match some of the physical traits of Tanaroch but not one with all them." Tanaroch smirks "ah mortals with brains, always refreshing to see. Those demons your refering to are likely mine. The mortals we transform often take on a bit of our appearnce. As for the skeptics. Ask yourselves this. Why is Rena so unnaturally strong? How could a region be so perfectly obscured? The answer is simple when you know Draxia and Megai as well as I do. Draxia is more then capable of making a concoction that increases fertility but guarantee one child is what you call evil and gifted physically as well as magically. Megai is an expert in altering the memories of mortals and like any devil can store spells in her demons." Coldreach says "Before their first child the Palemares were seeming rather desperate to finally have a child." Chuldera says "So they would have likely attempted anything to increase their odds of having one. Perhaps not even bothering to look deeply into the one that could finally offer the answer to their desperate prayers. And with Megai at Rena's side Rena could easily ensure no one could run away and anyone visiting would remember what ever she wanted them to remember as she wanted it remembered. Rena looked like a saint and we had no idea. But then why let Rena attend the Amazonia Knight Academy? It's the start of what let us find out about this mess." Coldreach leans back and says somewhat annoyed by her realization "Rena's true behavior starts to be found out. we find the dire state the Palemare region is in, and Lu was left behind, which I'm starting to beleive wasn't an accident. Did Draxia want Rena found out?" Tanaroch looks at the Countess of Coldreach and says "That is the question that should concern you the most." Queen Luna says "you have given us much to think about. Everyone dismissed and think hard about what we have learned to day." As everyone clears out Coldreach asks "Lady Tanaroch. Will you come with me back to coldreach? or at least part of the way? I have numerous questions I wish to ask you." Tanaroch nods "Ah such manners. I am not needed for a time and better equipping humans with knowledge to use against Draxia benefits me. I will indulge you for now." The two leave the courthouse together.
