The Academy of Prosperity was the third Imperial Academy that was founded in the Empire of the Jade Eye. Like the other academies, it is situated within the Imperial Iris within Rhajada. The academy is dedicated to fostering economic growth, technological advancement, and skilled craftsmanship. With a focus on Economics, Engineering, Crafts, and Trade, the Academy of Prosperity plays a crucial role in driving the empire's economic engine and ensuring its continued wealth and stability.

Faculties

Economics. The Faculty of Economics is perhaps the driving force of the Academy. Its scholars concern themselves with the complexities of economic theory, financial systems, and market dynamics. They analyze the intricacies of supply and demand, fiscal policies, and to a lesser extent international trade. The faculty's comprehensive curriculum includes macroeconomic and microeconomic theory, econometrics, and economic history. The faculty provides students with the knowledge to navigate and shape the empire's economic landscape on a theoretical level. It's archives are filled with thousands of copies of bills, invoices, receipts and other financial transcripts, all incredibly neatly organized. Masters and Savants from this faculty are economists, policy advisors, and financial experts, that can guide the economic strategies and policies of the empire.   Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering is a hub of innovation and practical problem-solving. It is dedicated to the design, development, and improvement of technology and infrastructure. The faculty emphasizes not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on practical experience with constructing and building structures, preparing students to contribute to the empire's technological advancement and infrastructure development. Students engage in a wide array of engineering disciplines, most commonly civil and mechanical engineering. Although magic is strictly regulated within the empire, Magitech engineering is also taught and experimented with here in collaboration with the Faculty of Magic from the Academy of Order. There is also overlap with the Academy of Culture for scholars and students who wish to become architects or designers, so that the structures they create for the empire are structurally and aesthetically sound.   Crafts. In the Faculty of Crafts, many forms of craftsmanship are taught and advanced. Scholars research, test and innovate methods of fabrication, and students can learn a variety of skills, from historical or traditional artisan techniques to more advanced fabrication methods. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of crafts, including woodworking, metalworking, textiles, and ceramics. The faculty values hard work, creativity and precision, and tries to instill the value that students not only master their craft but also innovate and adapt their skills to changing times and demand. Graduates from this faculty typically move on to become part of the Imperial Guilds to further their develop their skills and can become master artisans and designers in all sorts of fields.   Trade. The Faculty of Trade is dedicated to the study and practice of domestic and international commerce. Its scholars research and investigate different types of businesses within the empire and abroad. In attempt to find out what makes strategies they employ and what makes for a successful business. There is a close collaboration with the Faculty of Economics, but in contrast to that faculty, the Faculty of Trade is more about the practical application by merchants and traders of the theories of economics. Students learn about trade policies, negotiation techniques, logistics, and the economic environment. The faculty provides a deep understanding of the complexities of trade agreements, supply chain management, and business relations. This education prepares students for careers in trade, logistics, and commerce.
